Birds

The students were asked to create their own unique bird. It can be any color, any size, any design that is unique to themselves. I provided the students with a multi-purpose note size paper with markers (some of them wanted bigger papers), crayons, and pencils (2B, 4B, 6B, even charcoal pencils if they wanted to use.) We talked about characteristics, elements, habitats, and other possibilities about birds to get started. And, we let ourselves go wild! Here they are:

  1. The birds are rad Hannah! Are these from your art school? How are your classes structured it's great that there's such a mix of ages. Leah's are super cool, especially for a 6 year old.

  2. Thanks! They are from my art school and a Montessori school I teach every Friday. I teach all ages-it's awesome! Are you on facebook? Would you be interested in sending your kids' drawing of birds?
It will be wonderful to share our kids art works!
