Welcome to the adventure of My Planet...
I was inspired by this book called "The Little Prince" that I'm currently reading, and thought it will be great if we can create a planet of our own...our imaginary planet; it could be big or small, it could be any colors, and there should be an imaginary creature that lives on that imaginary planet of your own.
The goal was to create a planet that could be designed by the students with whatever color and pattern they wish. The idea was to hang a Styrofoam ball that represents the planet on a box, which could be decorated by the students--displaying their planet, features, and creatures.

The students cannot wait until they put their planet drawing in the box, they dive into creating their planet scenes!

Tada! We created our own planet, and inside dwells a creature of our own! Plus, we're going to keep feeding, nurturing, and growing our planet ... and thinking about where we want to go next!
